St. Anthony Church Sakinaka - Christmas Advertisment 2015

St. Anthony Church Saki Naka like every year had Christmas Carols competition however it was with a twist in the 2015 edition. The event was called “Christmas Advertisement” with a unique idea where each zone enacts a skit in a form of an advertisement selling the wonderful meaning of Christmas and of course this was in combination with Carols singing.

Fr. Julius D’Souza teamed along with the Parish Council, the youth and the support Parish Priest Father Cajetan Pinto to organize this event involving all 10 zones. It was at least a month’s preparation before the big day and it proved that the enthusiasm and effort by all made the event very pompus and enjoyable for all and a super success.

The event was hosted by the dynamic duo of Jeswin and Patsy who are from the Confirmation Batch and were super excited to host their first event. We’re confident they will go a long with the wonderful start they’ve had.

The event music and sound was setup completely by the young and talended Savio and Wilston who complemented the overall event perfectly.

Each zone had different themes, there was one having an urban backdrop whilst another with a simple village setup, some of the zones used very practical everyday events which the audience could relate with and some wore their traditional best. Each skit was creatively done and had a different idea to share.

All in All the event had a wonderful Christmas feeling with Seniors, Youth, Children enjoying connecting and bonding with each other to make it a very vibrant community.
